Lucy is an experienced commercial lawyer with particular expertise in property, commercial and state tax law. Lucy is also a notary public.
Lucy assists with the purchase and sale of property, business, advising and drafting of commercial leases, drafting partnership, joint venture, shareholder and other commercial agreements.
As a property developer, Lucy has extensive experience in property law issues which arise in the acquisition, development and sale of properties. Lucy's experience includes planning applications (including removal of single dwelling covenants), adverse possession claims and resolving property and building disputes.
Lucy previously worked at the Victorian State Revenue Office, the Australian Taxation Office and a commercial law firm. Lucy has significant experience in state taxes (such as stamp duty, landholder duty and land tax) as well as trusts, property and commercial law.
Lucy is also a notary public, a chartered accountant, and a native Mandarin Chinese speaker.
Anthony Guang
Anthony is a friendly and diligent commercial, tax, and property lawyer.
Originally from Malaysia, Anthony obtained his Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Monash University. Anthony's main interest is in commercial .aw and taxation law, and he also has experience in family Law, succession Law and property law.
Anthony is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, and intermediate in Malay.
Venzo Xu
Venzo is an extremely experienced legal assistant studying to be admitted as a lawyer, with extensive experience in property and small business conveyancing.
Venzo's deep understanding of the conveyancing process, including property transfers, small business transfers, contracts and leases, and stamp duty on property transactions, ensures a seamless experience for our clients. Her pragmatic approach at work means that issues are resolved proactively and timely.
Venzo values the importance of friendly and efficient communication with clients, lenders, real estate agents, government authorities, external legal professionals, and the Kai Legal team, facilitating clear and concise information throughout the conveyancing process. She has a background in commerce and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws degree.
Venzo also speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese.
Sarah Zhou
Sarah is legal assistant with years of overseas experience, now assisting Kai Legal's clients on property and commercial transactions.
Sarah holds a Master's Degree in Business Information Systems and a Master's Degree in Commercial Law from Monash University.
Prior to joining Kai Legal, she worked in a global law firm in China for years which allows her to have extensive experience in law firm administrative work and communicate with clients in both Mandarin and English.
Sarah has deep experience in dealing with residential property matters and related party transfers, allowing her to deliver bespoke advice to clients with her patient and expert approach.
